UWC Georgia is dedicated to selecting and supporting students and their families for the UWC movement. Our members are passionate about education and international understanding, working together to create opportunities for young changemakers.
Since 2013 Charity Foundation “Scholae Mundi” has actively supported the operations of the UWC Georgia. Thanks to the foundation’s support and the tireless efforts of the National Committee team, 2014 saw a substantial increase both in the number of candidate applications to UWC colleges and in educational financing opportunities for admitted students.
Who forms the National Committee?
Our UWC National Committee is made up of individuals who share UWC’s mission and values. These include:
- UWC alums and their families – Former students who have attended UWC schools or short courses and their families, bringing firsthand experience of the UWC journey.
- Education professionals – Teachers, school administrators, and educators who are committed to nurturing young minds and promoting transformative education.
- Community leaders – Individuals from various sectors who support youth development and global citizenship.
- Other volunteers – Supporters of UWC who contribute their time and expertise to help select and guide students.
Our history and impact
